Funeral Services

As a Funeral Celebrant I offer professional and highly personal support at this extremely sad time for you and your family.

I can assist in giving those you love the very best send off. I am a friendly, experienced and calm person and would feel privileged to be invited by you to officiate the Celebration of Life of your loved one.

I am fully aware of how shocked and in pain people can be and how a well-planned and personalised funeral service can support you and your family in feeling safe to mourn your loved one with tears as well as laughter.

I can visit you and have a meeting or we can talk via Zoom depending on your circumstances. I will listen to your plans and guide you in choosing the type of service your loved one would have wanted.

As an independent Celebrant I can support your choice of no religion, some elements of religion such as ‘The Lord’s Prayer’ and/or a religious Blessing or you can have a service with hymns, prayers and religious readings as well as a personalised Eulogy; creating a service that celebrates and reflects your loved one’s life.

After our meeting, you will receive the draft Order of Service within twenty-four hours and then I will write a draft Eulogy and assist you in finalising the Tributes, Readings and Participation as well as confirming songs or hymns and music. I will also liaise with the Funeral Director about your Order of Service, choice of music and length of Service.

You may choose to have a Service in the Crematorium or by the graveside or at a different venue: the choice is yours.

I also officiate Interment of Ashes and Memorial Services and I will support you in writing and marking these events for your loved one with dignity and love.

Cost: £100 for the Interment of Ashes and £200 for Funeral and Memorial Services

Here is a recent testimonial (January 2022) from a family:

Thank-you so very much for the most wonderful way you carried out our Dad’s funeral yesterday. It was exactly as he would have wanted , which made us very happy. Take care. Much love and appreciation ……..”.
