‘Wedding Law Reform Review 2024 Update

In July 2022 the Law Commission published its final recommendations on reforming wedding law in England and Wales. Wedding laws that have been in place since 1837! That's the year Queen Victoria came to the throne! ⏳ We continue to await the Government's full and comprehensive response. ⏳ I support wedding law reform and most importantly I support that it includes independent Celebrants like myself who want be able to offer each and every couple the full range of choices for their wedding ceremony including 'the legals'. ⏳ If you are interested and want to read the Law Commission's Report here is the link: https://www.lawcom.gov.uk/project/weddings/

Susan we can’t thank you enough! 💕

An Intimate and Bespoke Wedding Ceremony

‘We loved Susan!! From the beginning when we first contacted her we knew that she just ‘got’ us. Susan took the time over the course of several meetings both online and in person to get to know us. We were asked to complete a detailed questionnaire which formed the basis of Susan’s script. She contacted the photographer and my dad to confirm the reading details.

On the day Susan’s skills really came to the fore: she had everyone captivated and all of our guests commented on how brilliant she was. She really made the ceremony; it was true to us and far more personalised than a generic ceremony-something that mattered to us a great deal. Susan we can’t thank you enough 💕’
