We loved Susan!! From the beginning when we first contacted her we knew that she just ‘got’ us. Susan took the time over the course of several meetings both online and in person to get to know us. We were asked to complete a detailed questionnaire which formed the basis of Susan’s script. She contacted the photographer and my dad to confirm the reading details.
On the day Susan’s skills really came to the fore: she had everyone captivated and all of our guests commented on how brilliant she was. She really made the ceremony; it was true to us and far more personalised than a generic ceremony-something that mattered to us a great deal. Susan we can’t thank you enough 💕

We booked Susan for our wedding vow renewal at Sketchley Grange in April 2023. We got married in a church the first time round, so I really had no idea just how many options there would be to personalise the ceremony. Susan provided lots of ideas and resources to look through, so we could make the ceremony unique to us. We chose to have a handfasting ceremony, which was absolutely perfect, it got everyone involved in the ceremony, which is what we wanted as we only had a very small gathering of close family and best friends. Susan really went above and beyond with the planning of the ceremony, she took her time to get to know my husband and I and made our two children really feel involved in the process too. Susan helped us write our vows and was very patient with us, providing several drafts of the ceremony until we were happy. The ceremony itself was wonderful too.

We chose Susan as our celebrant for our Spring wedding this year, and we have to say that the day wouldn’t have been the same without her. She was dedicated in the planning, offering guidance, but never overbearing, and she listened deeply to what we wanted to achieve, and was a true partner in helping us craft what was, in the end, a perfect celebration for us.
She is kind, funny, empathetic, energising, relaxed, experienced, knowledgeable, pragmatic, loving, couple-centred – everything you would want her to be for a relaxed and genuine celebration. On the day itself she exuded a resonance with the day, with us as a couple, with our ceremony and with the love and commitment which drove the whole occasion.

What can we say? After having our very small legal ceremony in 2020, we decided quite late in the day we wanted a celebrant-led ceremony for our Wedding Celebration in 2021.
We had an initial conversation on Zoom and Susan and I clicked instantly. In just two months, we prepared the ceremony and Susan was conscientious, thorough and lovely to work with from day one. We trusted her so much that the first time we met her in-person was on the big day! (She did offer to meet in-person before but my schedule was a little crazy.)
Susan went above and beyond to deliver a fun, loving and personalised service. Our guests have since told us they’ve never been to a ceremony like it (in the best kind of way) and Susan was such a huge part of this.
Absolute pleasure working with Susan. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Right from the very first zoom call with Sue, we knew she was perfect for us!
She takes the time to get to know you as a couple, and individuals. Something we felt was reflected through her choice of words for our ceremony. From day one, right up to the day of the ceremony Sue was there all the way.
She really became a part of our big day, and was always quick to reply to any questions we had. We can’t thank Sue enough for the personal service and commitment she gave to us.
